Fabrice Defferrard (born 6 July 1966; age 57), FoxDelta1701 on Memory Alpha's French-speaking community, is a French academic and author. He teaches law at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne and at Pantheon-Sorbonne University, France. He is also editorial director of the Mare & Martin publishing company in Paris.

Defferrard is a member of the Société des gens de lettres de France and a fortuitous member of OUDROPO (Ouvroir de droit potentiel de l'Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne). He is the author of several books on law, two novels, and of the book Le Droit selon Star Trek, published by Mare & Martin in 2015 (and reprinted in 2016).

In June 2015, Le droit selon Star Trek unanimously won the Olivier Debouzy prize, award of the "legal ideas agitator".

In January 2016, he published an article in the Revue générale de droit of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law entitled "Star Trek: Paradigme juridique et laboratoire du droit".
