Corporal F. Hawkins was a Human male who served as a Military Assault Command Operations soldier during the mid-22nd century. In 2153, Corporal Hawkins was one of the MACOs assigned to the NX-class starship Enterprise for a mission in the Delphic Expanse. Hawkins was killed in action in February of 2154, while protecting Lieutenant Malcolm Reed and T'Pol inside a Delphic Expanse sphere. Upon his death, Hawkins became the twenty-third Enterprise crewmember to die inside the Delphic Expanse, which angered Malcolm Reed.
Early career
Prior to serving aboard Enterprise, Hawkins served six months on the Janus loop, where he gained over one thousand hours in an EV suit, and received EV combat training. (ENT: "The Council") Hawkins only spent time in gravity boots during his training. (ENT: "Anomaly")
Enterprise
Hawkins and fellow MACOs N. Kemper and J. McKenzie accompanied Captain Archer aboard an adrift alien ship. Later, he was also part of the boarding party which infiltrated the Osaarian base inside a Delphic Expanse sphere. (ENT: "Anomaly")
In 2153, Hawkins accompanied Captain Archer, Lieutenant Malcolm Reed, and science officer T'Pol on a mission to board the Vulcan starship Seleya, which the Enterprise crew had discovered derelict in the Expanse. While on board, they encountered the crew, who had become dangerously violent due to their exposure to trellium, a substance which had a toxic effect on the Vulcan nervous system. Hawkins was initially at odds with T'Pol, who reprimanded him for attempting to use the "kill" setting on his particle rifle to combat the Vulcan crew. Hawkins later conceded, however, that T'Pol had been correct, and that lethal force was inappropriate for what was intended to be a rescue mission. (ENT: "Impulse")
Later that year, T'Pol ordered Hawkins to stand by with an assault team in anticipation of Captain Archer requesting support in destroying a Xindi kemocite facility. Archer decided to abort the attack, however, when he realized that the Xindi working at the facility were simply laborers, and were not involved with Xindi who had launched an attack on Earth previously in the year. The next year, Hawkins was selected by Lieutenant Reed to accompany him and T'Pol on a mission to enter one of the Delphic Expanse spheres to retrieve a redundant memory core. As T'Pol attempted to retrieve the core, Hawkins and Reed stood guard, eventually coming under attack by a defense armature. As Hawkins attempted to destroy the robotic armature as it approached their position, the arm latched onto him, vaporizing him instantly. (ENT: "The Council")
