Template:Realworld Eric Guaglione is an animation supervisor who worked for Santa Barbara Studios on episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager and on the feature film Star Trek Generations. In 1995 he received an Emmy Award nomination in the category Outstanding Individual Achievement in Graphic Design and Title Sequences for the title sequence of Star Trek: Voyager, which he shared with Dan Curry, John Grower, and Erik Tiemens.
Guaglione started to work for the company Dream Quest, Inc. as matte photographer and motion control camera operator on the fantasy film Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983, with Gregory Jein, Kevin Kutchaver, and Hoyt Yeatman), the comedy Vacation (1983, with Hoyt Yeatman), the comedy Deal of the Century (1983, with Scott Squires), the television series V: The Final Battle (1984, with David Stipes, Gregory Jein, Eugene P. Rizzardi, and Hoyt Yeatman), the action adventure Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), the horror comedy Gremlins (1984), the war comedy Best Defense (1984), and the comedy The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984).
Beginning in the early 1990s, he worked as animation supervisor and director for Santa Barbara Studios. Credits include the short documentary Destiny in Space (1994, with Mark Wendell and Alan G. Markowitz), the television mini series 500 Nations (1995), the short documentary Cosmic Voyage (1996, with John Grower, Alan G. Markowitz, Peter G. Travers, Kathi Samec, and Mark Wendell), and the horror film An American Werewolf in Paris (1997).
Further credits as animation supervisor for the Walt Disney Animation Studios include the animated films Mulan (1998), Lilo & Stitch (2002), and Brother Bear (2003), and for Animal Logic the comic adaptation The Spirit (2008), the science fiction film Knowing (2009), the fantasy adventure Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010), and the fantasy thriller Sucker Punch (2011).
Since July 2012 he is working as director for Rovio Entertainment Ltd., an animation company located in Helsinki, Finland.
