An encyclopedia
An encyclopedia was a book or computer compilation of comprehensive references containing articles on a wide range of subjects or on numerous aspects of a particular field, usually arranged alphabetically.
In 2267, James T. Kirk taunted Spock to snap him out of his Omicron spore-induced giddiness. One of his insults asserted that Spock's mother was an encyclopedia. (TOS: "This Side of Paradise")
