Emily Banks (born 23 January 1938; age 86) is an actress who played Tonia Barrows in the Star Trek: The Original Series first season episode "Shore Leave". She filmed her scenes between Wednesday 19 October 1966 and Monday 24 October 1966 at Africa USA and on Thursday 27 October 1966 at Desilu Stage 9. [1]

Banks got her start in 1960 when she was elected Miss Rheingold, appearing in advertisements and promotions for Rheingold Beer. [2] In 1963, she appeared as a model for the game show Say When!. Contestants were presented with merchandise, and were required to build their "pot" by selecting items to get close to, but not exceed, a total. Banks modeled these items. Two years after her run ended in 1964, she got her first movie role and first television guest appearance; she worked intermittently in both forms until 1986, including Live a Little, Love a Little, an Elvis Presley movie that also starred Celeste Yarnall.
