Elias Toufexis (born 27 October 1975; age 48) is a Canadian actor who portrayed "Cold" in the Star Trek: Discovery first season episode "Context Is for Kings". He has since been cast as the recurring alien L'ak for the fifth season of Discovery. [1]

He also performed the voice of Galvan in the video game Star Trek: Resurgence.

Toufexis is a prolific voice actor, having lent his voice to many video games over the last decade. In this field, he is perhaps best known for voicing the protagonist Adam Jensen in the 2011 video game Deus Ex: Human Revolution and its 2016 sequel Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. He also voiced the character in a 2010 animated short, prior to the relase of Human Revolution and a 2016 add-on for Dota 2.

Toufexis has also voiced characters in several games of the Assassin's Creed franchise. 2009 and 2010 he voiced Federico Auditore da Firenze and Ugo in Assassin's Creed II and its sequel Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. 2011 he voiced several guards in Assassin's Creed: Revelations, which included the voice of John de Lancie. In 2014, he voiced Jacques Roux in Assassin's Creed: Unity. He returned to the franchise in 2018, when he voiced two characters in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Already in 2008, he voiced characters in Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 and Suikoden Tierkreis. In 2010, he performed characters in Splinter Cell: Conviction, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, H.A.W.X.2 (starring Ron Perlman), and Shaun White Skateboarding (with Hannah Cheesman). 2012 he lent his voice to the game I Am Alive and 2013 he reprised his role of Andriy Kobin for another Splinter Cell game, Blacklist (with Mimi Kuzyk and Ali Momen). The same year, he also voice performed for Contrast.

2015, he voiced a character in an add-on for Dying Light, starring Nazneen Contractor. In 2016, he voiced Takkar, the protagonist of Far Cry Primal (with Ali Momen). 2017 he voice performed in the games Fortnite and The Long Dark. For 2018, he lent his voice to several games, BattleTech, Thief of Thieves, Spider-Man (with Mark Rolston), Call of Duty 4: Black Ops, Lego DC Super-Villains (with Armin Shimerman, Brian George, Jeffrey Combs, Mark Rolston, Michael Dorn, Robin Atkin Downes, and Tasia Valenza), and Last Year: The Nightmare.

He was to voice Alistair the Kinght in the game Hellraid, alongside Robert Picardo, though the game was put on hold indefinitely in 2015.
