Elasian tears, which are often referred to as "mystical powers" are, in reality, a biochemical compound contained in the tears of Elasian women. A man whose flesh is once touched by the tears of a woman of Elas has his heart enslaved forever. The men of Elas have tried for centuries to dispel its power.
