Arex, an Edosian male

Edosians (or Edoans) are a tripodal species, having three arms, legs and fingers on each hand. An Edosian named Arex was a member of Starfleet in 2269 and 2270.

The Edosian homeworld was also home to the Edosian orchid and the Edosian suckerfish. (DS9: "Broken Link"; ENT: "These Are the Voyages...")

Knowledge of the suckerfish among Humans may indicate a first contact date prior to 2161.
