Derada is a board game played in the 24th century.
It uses rectangular and cylindrical pieces, some of which have holes drilled through them, on a round game board. When Tom Paris played the game with B'Elanna Torres, he always opened with a move known as the Novakovich gambit, because she always fell for it. Paris described Derada as a game of "subtlety." (VOY: "Night")
- The Star Trek: Voyager Companion spells the name of the game "durotta."
- Derada uses the pieces and board of the game Quarto.
