Donik was a young Hirogen who was rescued by the USS Voyager when the holograms lead by Iden rebelled in 2377. He was the only survivor of the hologram attack and was taken aboard Voyager. After being beamed to sickbay, Donik informs Janeway that he was on a training exercise when the holograms malfunctioned and took over the training exercise, took off the safety protocals and attacked the hunters. He would later be a go between the Hirogen and Voyager in an attempt to stop the holograms. (VOY: "Flesh and Blood, Part I & Part II)
