Don Reilly is the actor who played Joret Dal in the Star Trek: The Next Generation seventh season episode "Lower Decks" in 1993.

Reilly also made guest appearances in the Father Dowling Mysteries episode "What Do You Call a Call Girl Mystery" (1989, with David L. Lander), two episodes of That's Life (2001, with regulars Titus Welliver and Paul Sorvino), and was a recurring actor in the 1987 television mini-series Amerika, alongside Wendy Hughes, Reiner Schöne, and John Towey.

He appeared in films such as the television drama When We Were Young (1989, with Josef Cannon, Christopher Carroll, Ronny Cox, Spencer Garrett, Galyn Görg, and Steven Weber), Kevin Kline's Hamlet (1990, with Michael Cumpsty, Reg E. Cathey, and Tom Klunis), the television special Perry Mason: The Case of the Poisoned Pen (1990, with Barbara Babcock, David Warner, Earl Boen, and Katherine Moffat), and the comedy Renaissance Man (1994, with Ed Begley, Jr., Ann Cusack, and Randy Hall).

Beside his continuing stage career, with plays such as "The School for Husbands" and "Terra Nova" and Awards such as the Boston Theatre Critic's Best Actor Award, he has worked as writer and director and released one of his projects, the short film The Bottom Line, in 2003.
