A dicobalt explosive was a type of weapon which incorporated the explosive material dicobalt.
During a civil war on the planet Coridan in the mid-22nd century, dicobalt explosives were among numerous weapons which insurgents were known for trying to acquire by taking hostages. In 2151, Chancellor Kalev made reference to this during a conversation with Commander Charles Tucker III. Kalev suggested the Coridanite rebels might want dicobalt explosives in exchange for releasing Captain Archer and Sub-Commander T'Pol. (ENT: "Shadows of P'Jem")
"Horizon" featured a "high-yield explosive" identified by its dicobalt signature.
