Deryl Patterson is an actor who appeared as featured and background actor in episodes of Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. He received no credit for his appearances but was identified by the call sheets of the episodes.

Patterson attended the Fairfax High School until 1973 and the University of Redlands between 1973 and 1974 where he studied Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation. Between 1976 and 1986 he worked as staff song writer and producer at Perren Vibes Music Publishing and between 1981 and 1982 as International Film Distribution for Gold Key Entertainment and Technicolor SA before he started to work in the same capacity for Crown International Pictures until 1991. Further employments include as Credit Manager/Accountant for Hemdale Video Distribution between 1991 and 1993 and as Senior Financial Analyst for Warner Bros. Entertainment before he joined SAG-AFTRA as an actor in 1998.

Other acting work include episodes of The Unit (2006, with Mark Harelik and Kavita Patil), The West Wing, and CSI: NY, the television music drama Something to Sing About (2000, with Jack Axelrod and Paul Terrell Clayton), Planet of the Apes (2001, with Michael Clarke Duncan, Cary-Hiroyuki, David Warner, Erick Avari, Freda Foh Shen, Anne Elizabeth Ramsay, Michael Jace, Michael Wiseman, Eileen Weisinger, Deep Roy, Kevin Grevioux, Jay Caputo, Todd Babcock, and Dragon Dronet), and the drama Water for Elephants (2011, with Jim Norton, Scott MacDonald, James Frain, Sam Anderson, Brad Greenquist, Bruce Gray, and James W. Jansen). In addition, he worked as stand-in for several actors such as for Bernie Mac on the action comedy Ocean's Eleven (2001).
