Template:Realworld Denny Dugally (born 21 February 1958; age 66) is a Production Designer and Art Director who is working as Art Director on the 2016 sequel Star Trek Beyond under Production Designer Scott Chambliss. [1]
One of Dugally's earlier credits was as production assistant on the fantasy drama The Seventh Sign in 1988. Darwyn Carson, Robert Herron, and Gary Epper were featured in the film and Durinda Wood did the costume design. She then worked as visual consultant on the horror comedy Mom (1991) and as assistant art director on the first season of the television series NYPD Blue (1993-1994) and on the science fiction sequel Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (1996, starring Matt Frewer and costume design by Deborah Everton).
Between 2001 and 2002, Dugally worked as Production Designer on J.J. Abrams' television series Felicity during its last season, starring Keri Russell, Greg Grunberg, and Amanda Foreman. For her work as production designer on the Arrested Development pilot episode in 2003, Dugally received an Emmy Award nomination in 2004 in the category Outstanding Art Direction for a Multi-Camera Series. Credits as Art Director include the television series C-16: FBI (1997, starring Zach Grenier), Wasteland (1999), and Numb3rs (2005) as well as the 2001 comedy America's Sweethearts, with Wendy Schenker and Alexander Enberg and casting by Junie Lowry-Johnson and Libby Goldstein.
Further credits as Production Designer include the television series Without a Trace (2003-2005, starring Enrique Murciano), Brothers & Sisters (2006-2011), GCB (2012), and The Client List (2012), the drama Greener Mountains (2005, with Hal Landon, Jr.), the short film The Chase (2006, with Kevin Scott Allen and Danny Downey), the comedy Kill Your Darlings (2006, with John Larroquette, Benito Martinez, John Savage, and Michelle Bonilla), the short drama Think Tank (2010), the television drama Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret (2013, with Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Jen Oda, and Tony Plana), and the television movie The Saint (2013, with Greg Grunberg, Enrique Murciano, Jason Brooks, and Omid Zader).
More recently, Dugally worked as Production Designer on Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman's fantasy series Sleepy Hollow (2013-2014), guest starring John Cho, music by Brian Tyler, co-produced by April Nocifora, and costume design by Sanja Milkovic Hays.
