Delavian chocolates

A bar of Delavian chocolates.

Delavian chocolates were a rare confection that both Julian Bashir and Elim Garak were fond of.

Garak had a special supplier that would provide him with Delavian chocolates. In 2371, Garak gave a small bar of Delavian chocolates as a gift to Bashir. He returned the chocolates to Garak a little later, when the Cardassian was leaving the station to search for Enabran Tain. Doctor Bashir thought that Garak needed them more. (DS9: "Improbable Cause")

According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 46) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), there was a star system named Delavi, which might possibly be the system of origin for these chocolates, in the Alpha Quadrant. This was a binary system with a pair of F-class stars.
