The Dawkins was a Federation class 2 shuttle that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to an unspecified Starfleet facility in the Sol system.

In 2376, Lt. Reginald Barclay flew the Dawkins to Jupiter Station to visit Dr. Lewis Zimmerman. (VOY: "Life Line")

The shuttlecraft could possibly be named for English scientist, ethologist and evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins.
