David Ray Maier is an actor who played an unnamed Klingon descendant on Gaia in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Children of Time". He received no credit for his appearance.

Maier has also played small roles without a credit in the films Point of No Return (1993, with Miguel Ferrer, Olivia d'Abo, Mic Rodgers, Kenny Endoso, Gary Kasper, and Ronald R. Rondell) and Eye for an Eye (1996, with Armin Shimerman, Natalia Nogulich, Wayne Pere, Sierra Pecheur, Angela Paton, Michael Buchman Silver, Marie Chambers, Bob Clendenin, and Jack Janda), and in the Murphy Brown episode The Last Laugh (1990, with John Hostetter). As an occasional stunt performer he has worked on Kicking and Screaming (2005, with Musetta Vander, Rachael Harris, David Bowe, Matt Winston, Tom Virtue, and stunts by Richard L. Blackwell, Charlie Brewer, Paul Eliopoulos, and Webster Whinery).

Maier has also worked as a stand-in and photo double for stars such as Tim Robbins, Charlton Heston, and Dax Shepard in films such as Town & Country (2001), Human Nature (2001), and Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005, with Derek Mears, Douglas Tait, and Jeff Wolfe).
