...as a flight officer

Darlena Tejeiro (born 1 October 1975; age 41) is an actress who plays a flight officer in Star Trek under director J.J. Abrams. [1]

Born as Darlene Tejeiro in Hoboken, New Jersey, she changed her name in the '90s to Darlene Dahl, because it was easier to pronounce. However today she is using her real name.

Tejeiro has started her acting career on screen with the recurring role of Anita Santos Warner in the daily soap All My Children (1995-1999). Her role was later recast with actress Natalia Cigliuti. Tejeiro also played recurring roles in MTV's Undressed (2000) and the soap Days of our Lives (2003). Other television series she has appeared in include Crossing Jordan (2002, episode With Honor, with Miguel Ferrer, David Andrews, and Hilary Shepard), NYPD Blue (2003, episode Porn Free, with Gordon Clapp, Daniel Benzali, and Jeff Wolfe), Nip/ Tuck (2003, episode Antonia Ramos, with Jonathan del Arco and Daniel Zacapa), Las Vegas (2005, episode To Protect and Serve Manicotti, starring Nikki Cox), Medium (2006, episode Twice Upon a Time, with Ellen Geer and Conor O'Farrell), and Ugly Betty (2007, episode Swag, with Alan Dale, Tony Plana, and Vanessa Williams).

Tejeiro has performed in several feature films, including the independent film Cross-Eyed (1999), the German comedy 100 Pro (2001), the remake Starsky & Hutch (2004, with Fred Williamson and David Soul), the television pilot Soccer Moms (2005, in which she was doubled by Boni Yanagisawa), the horror thriller Greed (2006, with Tim Sitarz and Nathan Anderson), and the comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007, with Matt Winston).
