Daniel Keys Moran (born 30 November 1962) is a computer programmer and a science fiction writer, most famous for his own fiction series, the Tales of the Continuing Time. He also runs, and contributes to, the Lakers Talk website.

He's also written three Star Wars short stories published in anthologies, edited by Kevin J. Anderson, as well as short stories and National Public Radio commentaries.
