Dana Vitatoe is an actor and post production coordinator who worked as stand-in and on-screen photo double for Brent Spiner in his role as Data and Lore in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode "Brothers". He received no credit for his work and was identified by the name tag of his costume which was sold off on It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] Additional episodes as photo double for Data include "Darmok", "The Game", "A Fistful of Datas", and "Birthright, Part I"

In addition, Vitatoe worked as Extra Grip on The Next Generation fourth season episode "Suddenly Human".

Vitatoe also appeared in films such as Strange as Angels and Blame It On Mars and in the 2003 short film A Simple Choice. Besides his acting appearances he has worked as a script coordinator for the television series What Should You Do? (2003-2004), in the camera department for the film Sordid Lives (2000, with Leslie Jordan and Ronnie Claire Edwards), and in the sound department for the film Encore (2005). He also worked in the post-production department on several television series, including Find & Design (2004-07), Lockup (2005-07), Mega Movers (2005-07), Survive This! (2007) and Stringers (2007). More recently he worked as Associate Story Producer on Lockup: Extended Stay (2008).
