Dan Shor (born 16 November 1956; age 67) is an actor who appeared in the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episode "The Price" as Arridor and the Star Trek: Voyager third season episode "False Profits". Shor is engaged to voice actress Denise Blasor.

A 1974 graduate of Elisabeth Irwin High School, Shor began acting after being cast in a New York production of Peter Shaffer's play, Equus. Shortly thereafter, director James Goldstone cast him to play the younger version of the title character of the 1979 mini-series Studs Lonigan. Fellow Voyager guest star Brad Dourif also had a role in this series. Shor and Dourif also co-starred together in John Huston's film Wise Blood that same year. Shor went on to be seen in three films featuring Star Trek: Deep Space Nine actress Louise Fletcher: Strange Behavior in 1981 (also starring Dey Young), Strange Invaders in 1983 (also with Dey Young, as well as Wallace Shawn, Jack Kehler, and Thomas Kopache), and 1984's Talk to Me.

Shor also had supporting roles in films such as Back Roads (1981, co-starring Barbara Babcock), Tron (1982, with David Warner), Mike's Murder (1984, also starring Paul Winfield), Mesmerized (1986), Black Moon Rising (1986), Solar Crisis (1990, with Michael Berryman, Paul Carr, Vince Deadrick, and Jimmie F. Skaggs), and 1993's Doppelganger (with Dennis Christopher, Leslie Hope, Sally Kellerman, Scott Lawrence, and Sean Whalen). However, his most famous film role is that of Billy the Kid in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989, with Bernie Casey, Jane Wiedlin, Hal Landon, Jr., and Rod Loomis).

During the 1985-1986 season, Shor was a regular on Cagney & Lacey, playing Detective Jonah Newman. His other TV credits include the movies A Rumor of War (1980, with Keith Carradine and Phillip Richard Allen), This Girl for Hire (1983, with Cliff DeYoung, Percy Rodriguez, Ray Walston, and Elisha Cook), and My Mother's Secret Life (1984, with Paul Sorvino and Stanley Kamel), the 1982 mini-series The Blue and the Gray (co-starring Stephen Collins, Robin Gammell, Gregg Henry, William Lucking, Charles Napier, Duncan Regehr, Noble Willingham, and Paul Winfield), and guest appearances on Knots Landing, Murder, She Wrote (in a 1988 episode with Cliff DeYoung, Laurence Luckinbill, and Gregory Sierra), Beauty and the Beast (starring Ron Perlman and Edward Laurence Albert, guest-starring with Jim Metzler), thirtysomething (with David Clennon), Judging Amy (with J.D. Cullum), and The X-Files/.

Shor is currently an acting, screenwriting, and directing teacher. He is the director in residence for the Diversified Theatre Company, a post he has held since 1995. He has also written several award-winning plays and two screenplays.
