Dan McCann is a stuntman, stunt actor, and stunt coordinator who performed stunts in five episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise. He received no credit for his appearances. His costume from the episode "Shadows of P'Jem" was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay, where his name was misspelled as Dan McCaan. 
McCann has doubled for actors such as John McGinley, Raul Julia, Kevin Kline, Ed O'Neill, Ian Ziering, and Jay Leno. He has a BA in political science from the UCLA and is spezialized in gymnastics and trampoline stunts. He is also an experienced stunt driver and studied at Rick Seamans precision stunt driving school.
Among McCann's resume are feature films such as Addams Family Values (1993, with Patricia Tallman), the action film Viper (1994, with stunts by Cole McKay, Chris Antonucci, Jeff Cadiente, Kurt D. Lott, and Gary Wayton) in which he doubled actor Lorenzo Lamas, the comedy spoof Spy Hard (1996, with Keith Campbell, Paul Eliopoulos, Bruce Gray, and Clyde Kusatsu), the thriller Arlington Road (1999, with Lin Oeding, Scott Workman, Rosine "Ace" Hatem, Todd Bryant, Steve Blalock, and Vince Deadrick, Jr.), The Animal (2001), the remake The Time Machine (2002), The Scorpion King (2002, starring The Rock), and the drama Southland Tales (2006, with John Larroquette, Wallace Shawn, and stunts by Brian Avery, Boni Yanagisawa, Anita Hart, and Angela Meryl). In 2007 he completed the comedy The Metrosexual for which he served as stunt coordinator and filmed scenes alongside Colm Meaney.
He has also performed stunts in several television series, including Married with Children (coordinated by Frank Lloyd), Charmed (coordinated by Noon Orsatti), Angel, The Agency, Carnivale, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Scrubs (starring Ken Jenkins), and in over two dozen episodes of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
