Daniel "Dan" E. Desmond (born 4 July 1944; age 79) is an actor from Racine, Wisconsin who played the Klingon chancellor in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "The Expanse". His costume was sold off on It's A Wrap! sale and auction and was previously worn by stuntman Ben Scott and later worn by stuntman David LeBell. [1]

Among his acting resume are films such as The Tell-Tale Heart (1971), No Big Deal (1983), Mississippi Burning (1988, with Brad Dourif), School Ties (1992, with Ed Lauter and Kevin Tighe), City of Angels (1998, with John Putch, Brian Markinson, and stunts by Steve Blalock, Eddie Braun, Mark Chadwick, Doug Coleman, and Brian J. Williams), Bruce Almighty (2003, with Mark Kiely, Christopher Darga, Robert Curtis Brown, Jamison Yang, Annie Wersching, Max Grodénchik, Michael Bofshever, and stunts by Charlie Brewer, Todd Bryant, and Gene LeBell), and Shackles (2005, with Sandra Nelson).

More recently his resume includes guest appearances in television series such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990), Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (1997), Snoops (1999), Dharma & Greg (1999, with Mitchell Ryan), The X-Files (2001, with Scott MacDonald, Jennifer Parsons, and Wade Williams), Boomtown (2002, with Neal McDonough and Raymond Cruz), Six Feet Under (2003, with Caroline Lagerfelt), Friends (2003), Joan of Arcadia (2003, with Patrick Fabian, April Grace, and Becky Wahlstrom), Cold Case (2004, with Leslie Silva), Without a Trace (2006, starring Enrique Murciano), and a recurring role in Law and Order (1990-2001).
