Damion Poitier (born 4 June 1982; age 41) is an actor and stuntman who appeared as a Romulan guard in Star Trek. [1] He was listed on the call sheet as "Drill Hanson #1". His face was reused in 2013 for card #28, Romulan Guard Javaid, of the virtual collectible card battle game Star Trek: Rivals. He also appeared as a Fesoj visitor in PIC: "Maps and Legends".

Poitier made his film debut playing part of Tec's crew in Malibu's Most Wanted (2003, featuring Greg Grunberg). He then had a supporting role in Never Die Alone (2004, with Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Jr. and Henry Gibson). He also had a supporting role in Jarhead (2005, with Scott MacDonald).

His other film credits include small roles in The Hard Easy (starring Peter Weller), Dreamgirls (with Ivar Brogger and Robert Curtis Brown), and The Perfect Sleep (with John Fleck and Pasha Lychnikoff). More recently, he played a lead role in Hunter Prey (2010). He was also an associate producer on this film, along with Caitlin Brown. He cameoed as Thanos in The Avengers, which starred Chris Hemsworth.

For television, Poitier has made both credited and uncredited appearances on such series as True Blood, Dollhouse, The Practice, CSI: NY, Charmed, Firefly, Alias, Judging Amy, Sheena Queen of the Jungle, Boston Legal, and Boomtown, the latter of which starred Neal McDonough. Poitier also worked with Fran Bennett, Tom Wright, and Star Trek: The Next Generation's LeVar Burton during his stint on Boomtown.

Poitier's stunt work includes the television programs and films Angel, Wanted on TNT, Semi Pro, For The People, Black Dynamite, Doing Hard Time, Black Dawn, Half Past Dead 2,The Whole Ten Yards, Snow Dogs, The Losers, and Guess Who (starring Zoe Saldana). He also played as The Incapacitator in Lab Rats vs. Mighty Med.
