Craig A. Cleaver worked as Post Production/Visual Effects assistant on the fifth season of Star Trek: The Next Generation for Paramount Pictures. His tasks include supporting two teams of Visual Effects Producers and Coordinators, managing preparation of visual effects elements across concurrent productions as well as scheduling of multiple post production facilities including motion control model stages, compositing and online houses.
Cleaver attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 1987 and 1992 and graduated with bachelor in Broadcast Journalism with High Distinction and minors in Film, Economics and History. In 1990 he worked as Post Production/Visual Effects Assistant for Lucasfilm Ltd. and Industrial Light & Magic. Between 1993 and 1994 he worked as assistant to the producers on the Paramount Pictures television series Frasier, starring Kelsey Grammer. He then became associate production manager for Warner Bros. animated comedy Space Jam between 1995 and 1996.
Between 1997 and 1998, Cleaver worked as production manager for the companies Banned From the Ranch Entertainment and Beantown Productions before he was assigned as visual effects producer at Pinnacle Studios where he worked on the Disney comedy I'll Be Home for Christmas (1998) and the independent drama The Book of Stars (1999).
In March 1999, he started to work for Microsoft, first as Senior Producer and later as Content Publishing Manager. Between March 2013 and September 2014 he was Senior Program Manager at Insight Global and is currently working as Intake Manager for Simplicity Consulting.
