Craig Benton is the actor who played Ensign Davis in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Violations".
Benton has also made appearances on Wings (starring Steven Weber), Knots Landing, Step by Step, Married... with Children, Bodies of Evidence (with Jennifer Hetrick, Deborah May, and Robert Pine), and Herman's Head (starring Molly Hagan). He was also seen in the 1993 TV adaptation of Journey to the Center of the Earth which starred F. Murray Abraham, Jeffrey Nordling, Carel Struycken, and Star Trek: Voyager's Tim Russ. Additionally, he had a small role as a paint shop owner in the 1992 film Kuffs, with Ashley Judd playing his wife; Christian Slater and Leon Rippy starred in the film. Benton was also seen in the science fiction thriller The Lawnmower Man that same year.
In 2000, he starred in the family movie More Than Puppy Love, and in 2003, he and Tony Todd had supporting roles in a thriller called Silence. Benton recently completed filming on the drama Raising Jeffrey Dahmer.
