A top view of the office

The counselor's office is the workplace of a ship's counselor aboard Federation starships, which included the USS Enterprise-D.

Deanna Troi's counselor's office featured subdued green and purple colors. It was equipped with several small tables and chairs as well as the obligatory psychologist's couch.

In early 2366, Devinoni Ral visited Counselor Troi in her office, where he then invited her to dinner. (TNG: "The Price")

Ensign Janet Brooks had regular appointments with Deanna Troi in her office after her husband, Marc Brooks, died in late 2366. Troi kept a music box, the only memento of Marc Brooks, in a small locker in her office and gave it to Ensign Brooks five months after Marc's death, the day before his birthday. (TNG: "The Loss")

Data visited Counselor Troi in her office asking her questions about a relationship with Jenna D'Sora. (TNG: "In Theory")

Worf visited Counselor Troi in her office when he had problems with his son Alexander in 2368. (TNG: "New Ground")

Worf and Alexander again had an appointment with Counselor Troi in her office due to the problems between them. (TNG: "Cost Of Living")

In early 2369 Counselor Troi had a session with Reginald Barclay in her office. He told her about his anxiety using the transporter and she introduced him her plexing technique. (TNG: "Realm Of Fear")

Commander Riker came to the counselor's office to check the crew evaluation reports with Counselor Troi but she was not in the mood and told Riker about her encounter with Ves Alkar's mother Sev Maylor before the two were called to an emergency in the huest quarters. Later, Troi had an appointment with Ensign Janeway at her office. (TNG: "Man Of The People")

In late 2369 Data spoke to Counselor Troi in her office about his anger feeling at the Ohniaka III Research Station. (TNG: "Descent")

In 2370, Geordi La Forge had an appointment with Counselor Troi in her office at order of Captain Picard. La Forge talked to Troi about the recent loss of his mother. (TNG: "Interface")

Also in 2370, Data talked to Counselor Troi in her office regarding his "nightmares". Troi analyzed him and told him he could develop a neurosis. She also suggested weekly meetings. (TNG: "Phantasms")

The Cairn Maques sought Deanna Troi out in her office to tell her about the "dark side" of her mother. When Troi understood what he was talking about she informed him about privacy. (TNG: "Dark Page")

The counselor's office was first seen in TNG: "The Icarus Factor". It was like the transporter room built on Paramount Stage 9.
