Malon export vessel, control room

The control room of a Malon export vessel

A control room is a room housing equipment used for monitoring and managing a ship or installation.

Malon export vessels had a control room where the ship's toxic waste systems were monitored by a waste controller.

In 2375, one such vessel was discovered to be leaking dangerous theta radiation, by the USS Voyager. An away team managed to beam aboard the ship, head to the control room, and seal the ruptured waste tanks before the ship exploded. (VOY: "Juggernaut")
