The Conrad was a Federation Class F shuttle operated by Starfleet in the late 23rd century. It was attached to Starbase 6.
In the mid-2270s, the Conrad was launching from the San Francisco air tram station just as Rear Admiral James T. Kirk's air tram was arriving at the station. (Star Trek: The Motion Picture)
Clips showing the original scene and modified scene which included the inclusion of this shuttle appeared in the bonus features of Star Trek: The Motion Picture (The Director's Edition). The name and origin of the shuttle itself were revealed by Daren Dochterman, visual effects supervisor for the Director's Edition.
