Clyde Kusatsu (born 13 September 1948; age 75) is an actor who played Vice Admiral Nakamura in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "The Measure Of A Man", and the seventh season episodes "Phantasms" and "All Good Things...".

Kusatsu is also noted for having unsuccessfully auditioned for the role of Quark in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. [1]

He guest-starred in Ally McBeal (2000, starring Roy Brocksmith, Steven Culp, Gina Philips, Kate Asner, and Jay Karnes). He appeared in a number of Kung Fu episodes including "Sun and Cloud Shadow", which guest-starred Morgan Woodward, and in an episode of The Facts of Life (1987). Kusatsu had a supporting role in The Frisco Kid (1979, with Vincent Schiavelli and Ian Wolfe) and played Secret Service Agent Jack Okura in In the Line of Fire (1993, with Gary Cole, Carl Ciarfalio, Michael Zurich, Lena Banks, Robert Buckingham, Robin Morselli, Elizabeth Pengson, Sharon Schaffer, and Denise Lynne Roberts).

Kusatsu appeared in the 2008 comedy Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, playing the father of John Cho's Harold, along with an episode apiece of William Shatner's $#*! My Dad Says and Hawaii Five-0.

As a Screen Actors Guild member, Kusatsu worked in several positions for this union and was voted to serve as SAG National Board alternate and to the Hollywood Division Board of Directors in 2009. [2] In 2015, Kusatsu was voted Vice President of the Los Angeles Local at the National Board of Directors for the 2015-2017 period of SAG-AFTRA.
