City (previously known as Citytv) is a Canadian television broadcaster owned and operated by Rogers Communications. There are currently stations located in five cities in Canada, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Montreal, and a cable-only station serving the Province of Saskatchewan.

The first station was founded in 1972 in Toronto by a consortium led by Moses Znaimer; by 1979, CHUM Limited had become sole owner, though Znaimer remained as head of the station into the mid-2000s. In 2002, it expanded to Vancouver, moving in to Alberta and Manitoba in 2005. With the sale of CHUM in 2007 to CTVglobemedia, including Space, Citytv was sold to Rogers Communications to satisfy Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission regulations.

The channel aired a number of Star Trek shows first-run, including Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise in their initial airings in Canada. In their promotions of the franchise's series, the channel playfully called itself, "Your Federation Station."

In 1994, Citytv aired the final episode of The Next Generation, ""All Good Things..." from the Skydome in Toronto, attracting more than 40,000 spectators. [1]
