Template:Realworld Christopher Hinz (born 10 March 1951; age 73) is an author and comic book writer.

Best known for his novels in the "Paratwa Trilogy", he published his first novel in 1987. He recently completed a new novel titled Spartan X, to be published late 2012.

He wrote a series for DC Comics titled Gemini Blood in 1996-97 with the art by Tommy Lee Edwards. He also wrote a ten-issue sequence of the Marvel Comics series Blade that comprised its second volume.

His only Star Trek contribution is the story "The Legacy of Elenor Dain" in WildStorm's Star Trek Special, where he reunited with Edwards.
