Christopher Carroll is an actor who has appeared in two of the Star Trek spin-off series. He first appeared as Gul Benil in the Deep Space Nine episode "Second Skin". He later played Captain Alben in the Voyager episode "Favorite Son". He also lent his voice to the non-canon video game Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
His other television credits include guest appearances on Cheers (in a two-part episode also guest starring Christopher Lloyd), the 1980s version of The Twilight Zone (in an episode with Voyager co-star Ethan Phillips), L.A. Law (with Corbin Bernsen), Life Goes On (starring Bill Smitrovich), Sisters (with Ashley Judd), NYPD Blue (with Gordon Clapp and Richard Lineback), The Nanny (with Daniel Davis), Melrose Place (featuring Warren Munson and Gwynyth Walsh), Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (with Barbara Babcock), The West Wing, Mad Men and Angie Tribeca. He had a recurring role as Judge Bickell on Boston Legal (which stars TOS actor William Shatner and DS9 actor Rene Auberjonois).
He also appeared in several made-for-TV co-starring a number of fellow Trek alumni, including Dance 'Til Dawn (1988, with Cliff DeYoung, Kelsey Grammer, and Graham Jarvis), Sinatra (1992, with Bob Gunton, Jeff Corey, Don Stark, Jay Robinson, Jack Shearer, Bruce Gray, and Brad Blaisdell), and And the Band Played On (1993, with David Clennon, Lawrence Monoson, Saul Rubinek, Reg E. Cathey, and Thomas Kopache).
He has also made appearances in such feature films as Primal Fear (co-starring Alfre Woodard, Terry O'Quinn, Tony Plana, and Kenneth Tigar), The Bachelor (1999, with James Cromwell and Sarah Silverman), and Little Nicky (2000, with Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Jr., Michael McKean, Clint Howard, and George D. Wallace).
