Template:Realworld Chris Dows is a comic book author. Up until 2005, he worked primarily with his writing partner Colin Clayton. Together, they worked on 5 issues of Malibu Comics' Star Trek line. In addition to their Star Trek work, they wrote a miniseries called The Searchers, which brought together a number of famous literary characters, pre-dating the more famous League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. They have worked in the UK working on tie-in comics such as the Rugrats, Action Man, and Looney Tunes. In addition to undertaking contract work for StarTrek.com and a significant number of articles for Star Trek Fact Files, Chris has his own regular Treknology column for the Official Star Trek Magazine and works for Games Workshop's Black Library Press.
