His only other acting credit is the background role as Hal's coworker in the Malcolm in the Middle episode Company Picnic: Part 1 (2002), with Stephen Root.

Behind the scenes, Murdock worked as construction coordinator for the thriller Open Fire (1995, starring Patrick Kilpatrick), as production assistant for the comedy Max Keeble's Big Move (2001), and in the sound department for the short comedy Stages (2002, with Cyril O'Reilly).
