Template:Realworld Chip Chalmers directed four episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and two of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Before he began his directing career, he worked as first assistant director on the third and early fourth season of The Next Generation. A character listed on several dedication plaques, Captain Chip Chalmers, was a homage to him.
