Chateau LaBarre 2294

The label

Chateau Le Barre was an estate red wine produced at the Picard family vineyards in La Barre, France. The head vigneron or winegrower during the mid-24th century was Robert Picard. This chateau's wine was trademarked and bottled at a castle. One particularly note worthy year of this wine was 2294.

When Jean-Luc Picard returned to Earth to meet his family in 2367, he sampled a glass of Chateau Le Barre 2347 and mistook it for a 2346 vintage. Robert Picard gave Jean-Luc a bottle of the '47 when the latter returned to the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Family")

Jean-Luc used this bottle to offer a toast to Chancellor Durken after initiating First Contact with the Malcorians in 2367. (TNG: "First Contact")

A wine label which bore this name was included in the Picard family album during the filming of Generations, but was ultimately unused in that production. The label was used on the bottle(s) in the episodes "Family" and "First Contact". [1][2]
Several materials included in the Picard family album imply that Chateau Picard is a Bordeaux wine.
