Charles Seel (born April 29, 1897 in New York City, New York; died April 19, 1980 in Los Angeles County, California) is the actor who appeared as Ed the bartender in the Star Trek episode "Spectre of the Gun".

He is perhaps best remembered for his many appearances as "Mr. Krinkie" on the television series Dennis the Menace. He also made several appearances on the westerns Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and The Virginian.

He also made brief appearances in a number of classic films, including several that were directed by John Ford and starred John Wayne, most notably 1962's The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. He also worked with Ford on the westerns Sergeant Rutledge (1960, starring Jeffrey Hunter) and Cheyanne Autumn (1964, starring Ricardo Montalban) and appeared with John Wayne in 1960's North to Alaska (also featuring Stanley Adams and Roy Jenson).
