Creation[]

We have articles (individual articles) for almost all of the comic book and novel writers and artist, having the category Category:Star Trek publication artists. The only orphan here on MA are the video games. Many actors appeared in both, one of the video games and one of the series/films. But there are also several performers and people behind them who worked only on the video games and we currently list them at "Star Trek games performers". They should also have their own articles. – Tom 06:52, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Agreed. Surprised that we didn't have this stuff before. I'm not entirely convinced that we should have articles for each individual person in a game, but if we do, we cannot limit it to the performers, and much deal with the production staff too. Then it becomes a question of "which staff do we deal with", since most of the games include the main directors (etc) of each and every company that worked on the game, even if said director had nothing to do with it at all. -- sulfur 15:37, September 7, 2010 (UTC)

Pages for these people[]

Regarding who gets a page and who doesn't, should Anna Vocino (having played a major role in Star Trek (video game)) have a page of her own, whereas someone who played "Extra #19" not? --LauraCC (talk) 17:32, September 30, 2015 (UTC)

these Vs. other "artists"[]

Why do voice actors in video games get relegated to this sorry page, but a guy who made the graphics for a page on a calendar gets his own article? Certainly the latters contributions are not greater than the formers. At this point, I don't see why those listed on this page can't have their own articles now. --Alan del Beccio (talk) 16:02, June 28, 2017 (UTC)

We've talked for ages about splitting these up and creating articles for them. It's just one of those "wow, that's going to be a fair bit of work" prospects. :) -- sulfur (talk) 16:04, June 28, 2017 (UTC)
As long as they remain production articles (which they would) and their work doesn't start creeping into the in-universe article space (which it shouldn't) I don't have a problem with this either. How about we try and sort this out once and for all and just take a vote on splitting it? --| TrekFan Open a channel 00:09, February 4, 2018 (UTC)
