I suggest we create an unnamed species category as a subcategory for species to compliment the already existing unnamed individuals category. Federation 22:42, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Instead of making pages like "Homn's species", why not just have an subcategory called "Individuals of Unknown Species" like on Wookieepedia? If there's only one member of the unnamed species ever seen-like Homn or The Traveler-you would list the individual. But if an species has no name but multiple members-at least one of them named-(like Pardshay's race) they would get an full article. In short:
-If there's only one named member of an species without an name, they go under "Individuals of unknown species". This probably shouldn't include mentioned-only people or people like Future Guy, because that would just clog it up. Example: Homn
-If there's multiple members of an unnamed species seen, and one or more has an name, then they get an species article under "Unnamed species", or if there's multiple unnamed members of an unnamed species that are all in an certain episode-for instance, the natives of an planet (the (something) natives articles). Example: Pardshay's species
-If there's no named members of an unnamed species, they go in the Unnamed Humanoids/Non-Humanoids article. Example: Tailheads
Just an suggestion. --Golden Monkey 21:04, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Borg designations only Edit
I was wondering if those species which only have Borg designations such as Species 10026 ought to be filed in this category. Technically, they're not really named that, only categorized by the Borg using those numbers. --LauraCC (talk) 18:48, October 20, 2016 (UTC)
