I think the name of the category should be changed to sth. like "Films and Television shows", because several TV shows are categorized here (Name the Winner for example). Kennelly 20:28, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
- The name of this article is accurate. The definition of a film is "motion picture"; a motion picture is essentially "a representation (as of a story) by means of motion pictures." By default a "tv show" is a motion picture. Otherwise, there really isn't enough to separate "tv shows" from "movies" as we usually like to have about 10 in a list to start a category/subcategory. I can only find A Briefing with Neelix with the segment Hints for Healthful Living, Daffy Duck and the Dinosaur (maybe), I Love Lucy, Mission: Impossible, Name the Winner, The Three Stooges, The Twilight Zone.
- I think the greater concern is how almost every "film" listed here is also listed in the Category:Earth. I would almost rather suggest making a sub-category called Category:Earth movies (to help alleviate the congestion in the Earth category) that would contain "films" that we know were most definitely made on Earth (that is those that are currently part of our pop culture) and leave the rest (as their origin is only speculative) in the main category, along with A Briefing with Neelix with the segment Hints for Healthful Living and Name the Winner. --Alan del Beccio 01:19, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
