Creating this page seems almost necessary, there is hardly an episode that aired that didn't mention at least one. However, if anyone is opposed to this, it can be removed. --Alan del Beccio 22:54, 30 Aug 2005 (UTC)

non-elements listed here?Edit

i see a lot of new articles being categorized here, but have they all been confirmed as real elements or other materials and substances mentioned to be elements -- dozens of materials and substances with names ending in "-ium" may not be actual elements in some cases according to the definition of what a chemical element is.. just wanted to make sure we are checking this -- Captain Mike K. I used the sources listed under Element to create my list of elements (plus some others, like Kefnium, that I found searching this site). I didn't just take every "-ium" and assumed it was an element. Some materials, such as latinum, were never referred to as an "element," but is listed as an element based on common sense (un-replicatable, contains properties, liquid at room temperature). If there is any conflict then just take it off the list(s), and if it is decided that it's an element, someone will put it back.--Tim Thomason 22:41, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
