Cassandra Byram is an actress and singer who played the USS Saratoga flight controller in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine pilot episode "Emissary"
Byram appeared in a few episodes of Jake and the Fatman (with Judson Scott) in the early 1990s and also chalked up some minor film roles. Her husband, Amick Byram, guest-starred twice on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Together with her husband she recorded the album "Hymns Renewed". [1]
