The location of Carraya
The Carraya sector was a region of space. This sector contained the Carraya system and the Romulan Neutral Zone.
In the Carraya system, the planet Carraya IV was home to a Romulan prison camp housing Klingon captives from the Battle of Khitomer.
In 2369, the YLT-3609, piloted by Jaglom Shrek, would visit this system. The flight plan of the Yridian shuttle was later displayed on the bridge of the USS Enterprise-D. On the map of the flight plan, the location of the Carraya system was labeled. (TNG: "Birthright, Part I", "Birthright, Part II")
According to the script for "Birthright, Part I", the pronunciation for Carraya was "car-AYE-ah". [1]
On the map, it would seem that the Nequencia Alpha system was closer to the Romulan Star Empire; however, according to dialogue, it was further away from Romulan territory than the Carraya system.
Carraya was also a playable skirmish map in the game Star Trek: Tactical Assault.
