Carole Raphaelle Davis (born 17 February 1958; age 66) is the actress and singer who played Giuseppina Pentangeli in the Star Trek: Voyager third season episode "The Swarm". She filmed her scenes on Thursday 1 August 1996 on Paramount Stage 16 and is listed as "Diva" on the call sheet.
Her first known television appearance came in a 1984 episode of The A-Team, starring Dwight Schultz, Lance LeGault, and William Lucking. Two years later, she co-starred with the likes of F. Murray Abraham, Jeff Allin, Lee Bergere, James Cromwell, Michael Ensign, Jonathan Frakes, Alice Krige, Matt McCoy, Glenn Morshower, Fritz Weaver, Noble Willingham, and Anthony Zerbe in the mini-series Dream West. She also appeared in a 1998 episode of Sex and the City, starring Kim Cattrall, How to Marry a Billionaire: A Christmas Tale (2000, with Hamilton Camp and Kenneth Mars), and Live from Baghdad (2002, with Bruce McGill and John Carroll Lynch).
Davis made her film debut opposite Tricia O'Neil in Piranha II: The Spawning (1981). She followed this with roles in The Flamingo Kid (1984, with Googy Gress, Brian McNamara, and Steven Weber) and Mannequin (1987, with Kim Cattrall, Phil Rubenstein and Steve Vinovich). She went on to appear in Project Metalbeast (1995, with Brian Brophy, Diaunté, Brioni Farrell, John Marzilli and Musetta Vander and starred as Rita X in Jack the Dog (2001) and Manhood (2003).
Further acting work includes guest roles in episodes of Angel (2004, with Rob Steiner and Brian Oerly), What's Up, Dad? (2004, with Patrick Fischler), The Bold and the Beautiful (2006), Scrubs (2007, with Ken Jenkins), Veronica Mars (2007), and 2 Broke Girls (2013) and the comedy Going the Distance (2010).
More recently, Davis appeared in the crime drama The Queen of Hollywood Blvd (2016) and the comedy Beach Cougar Gigolo (2016).
