Carol A. O'Connell is a hair stylist that worked on three Star Trek films. For Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, O'Connell was credited as an additional hair stylist, while for Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country as a hair stylist.

In 2000 she received a BAFTA Film Award nomination in the category Best Make Up/Hair for her work on American Beauty which she shared with Tania McComas.

One of her first industry jobs was as a hair stylist on T. J. Hooker (with William Shatner). Soon after, she moved into the movie realm with work on Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise (1987, with James Cromwell, Curt Schulkey, John Cade, Sharon Schaffer, Raymond Forchion, Gary Epper, Tom Hodges, Ed Lauter, Charles Correll, Ed Lauter, Scott Wilder, Frank Smathers, Glenn R. Schulman), Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997, with Vivian McAteer and Tania McComas), Absolute Power (1997, with Vivian McAteer), and American Beauty (1999, with Scott Bakula and makeup artist and hair stylist Cheri Ruff).
