Carlos Mota (born 10 April 1969; age 54) is a comic book artist from Brazil. He began in the industry in 1995 with Lynx Studio doing superhero comics for US publishers including Marvel, DC, and Image. some titles he worked on include Farscape: War Torn, Tomb Raider, Glory, and Lady Death.

In 1998, he began working for the comic division at Disney on titles such as The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast before finding his niche with the Duck family (Donald, Scrooge, etc).

He has worked on two Star Trek related items, both with Keith Aiken. The first was a short story titled "Bloodline" in the Star Trek: Special and that was followed up by a full length one-shot, "Enter the Wolves". Mota did pencil art for both and combined with Aiken to produce the cover of "Enter the Wolves".
