The Cardassian Ministry for the Refutation of Bajoran Fairy Tales was a fictitious government organization invented by Benjamin Sisko.
In 2371, he sarcastically suggested that he thought Gul Dukat had been put in charge of this ministry. The Cardassian had tried to dissuade Sisko from his planned trip in a Bajoran lightship, suggesting that he had thought Sisko too smart to fall for such stories. Sisko had then reminded him that at one time, the Celestial Temple had been thought to be a fairy tale before the wormhole's existence was proven. (DS9: "Explorers")
