Carbon-70 is an allotrope of the element carbon also known as a fullerene. It consists of seventy carbon atoms fused together into a roughly ball-shaped molecule.

Late 24th century Starfleet combadges were made out of gold, silicon, beryllium, and carbon-70. (TNG: "Time's Arrow")
