Camor V was the fifth planet of the Camor system and the homeworld of the Camorites.

The planet was badly affected in the Cardassian Wars with a good amount of the adult population killed in the war, leaving many orphans behind. Most of the government structures were also destroyed, causing the planetary records to be virtually nonexistent by 2370. The absence of a government also caused a breakdown of public order with street gangs attacking and killing people in daylight, such as Miranda Vigo.

The only agricultural region was located on the Southern continent, with relatively few people working here. There was also a small non-Camorite population here in 2370, for example eight Humans on the whole continent, including Jason Vigo. In search for Jason, the planet was visited by the USS Enterprise-D that year. (TNG: "Bloodlines")

According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 47, Camor V was located on a boundary line, the closest to Federation space, of the Demilitarized Zone, and this planet was located in the Alpha Quadrant.
